In this fast paced, crazy-ass world we live in, it can be SO effortlessly easy to get so wrapped up in the smallest of snags. So much so, that we tend to forget how blessed we truly are.
So, I decided that I'm going to make a list of ten things that I love every week, and I'm going to call it my "Things I Love Thursday". A good way to help battle sad thoughts and feelings are to literally count your blessings. Cliché? Yes. Will it work? Who knows. But there's no harm in remembering what you're thankful for.
- Sinfully chocolaty hot chocolates
- Sleeping in with my man
- The happy dance my doggy does when I come home. Doesn't matter if I've been gone 10 minutes or 2 hours. This is when I truly feel loved the most.
- Getting a foot rub without asking for one
- Cooking for my man when he comes home from class
- The smell of my freshly washed hair when it falls in my face
- Clean sheets
- The smell of garlic bread baking in the oven
- Chocolate covered pretzels
- Snuggling with my pup under a blanket all day
